TS-AudioToMIDI converts digitized music into MIDI sequences - and unlike other programs it CAN process polyphonic music (that is having many tones or voices). What takes several hours of hard work even for a well-trained musician will be a matter of some few minutes for TS-AudioToMIDI.
TS-AudioToMIDI can operate in two recognition modes: off-line and real-time. (Only Registered Version can save mp3 to midi, in unregistered version you can just review the converted midi file)

In off-line mode TS-AudioToMIDI creates MIDI sequences from input files (like mp3s or audio CD tracks). This gives you numerous possibilities:
* upload your favorite melody to your web page
* play it on your cell phone
* use it in your MIDI instrument for training or for background
* use it in a MIDI editor (and thus print your MIDI files as musical notation)
* make a preview of your mp3 collection (saves traffic on your web site)
In real-time mode TS-AudioToMIDI instantly converts music coming through microphone or line input of your computer into a MIDI sequence. Think of this mode as a powerful music processor, which allows some non-MIDI instrument (like a guitar) to sound as a violin or a piano or whatever instrument you've got in your MIDI synthesizer.

Here you can download the samples of MIDI files created by TS-AudioToMIDI and original mp3s they were transcribed from. You can compare them or repeat the same recognition yourself using TS-AudioToMIDI Settings files (with a2m extension) provided for each sample. TS-AudioToMIDI Settings files contain individual parameter configuration and can be opened with TS-AudioToMIDI. Please consult help file for description of working with Settings files.
MIDI files provided do not contain any additional tags and can be opened by any MIDI player or Editor capable to work with standard MIDI files.
Most samples do not contain whole musical performance but only part of it. Due to compression used quality of samples is relatively low, but it is sufficient for recognition.

Just a few words
on how this program works:
Every musical note has pitch, which
corresponds to the frequency of main tone. Modern musical
scale has almost 100 pitches with frequencies from approximately
30 hertz to 4,5 kilohertz. Neighbor notes frequencies
(C and C#, E and F) are always related as 2 in 1/12
power, so notes making an octave interval (=12 smallest
called semitones) have frequencies rated as 1:2. There
are other scales too, but they are rarely used.
