Convert & burn XviD To DVD Step by Step |

The guide below shows a way to convert your DivX, XviD files
to DVD(play on TV). I admit that these programs
are not the best way to do the job, just I believe it's the
easiest one. So if you find the TMPGEnc Plus / DVD Authoring
program way too complicated, this guide will let you convert
your DivX and XviD files with just a few clicks.
What is Divx or XviD? Know more about it
Here,
you can regard them as .avi file for converting.
The program we are going to use Mpeg/Mov/RMVB/DivX/AVI
to DVD/VCD/SVCD Converter Pro 7.07
It enables you to convert and burn
any video file directly to VCD, DVD, SVCD, MPEG1 and MPEG2
format.
Support Divx, XviD format avi files, Support
VOB, ASF, WMV format as input file, too.

This is the top area of the program where we need to make the
first settings. First of all you select the conversion you want
to do (1). We want to convert our Divx/XviD(AVI
file) to DVD, so select To DVD. Now you have
to select between two tabs (2). Merge/Batch will join all the
video you add (as you can add more than one) to one MPG file.
Batch will encode each AVI to a different MPG file (so that
you burn it in more DVDs). As you understand if the videos are
small select Merge, if it's big movies you want to put into
different DVDs select Barch. After this click Add (3) and open
the video files you want to convert. |
Now it's time for the output settings. First of all select the
location and the name of the output file (2). Then select Keep
Aspect Ratio (4) unless you want your actors to look like aliens!
:-) After that select the output format (4) between PAL and
NTSC depending on your DVD player. The PAL and NTSC selections
will set the right output size (resolution) (4). Also if you
want your PC to shut down after the conversion (usefull as the
conversion may take much time) select this option (5). |
This is how the main window should look like (depending on your
settings of course) before you encode. If everything is OK click
the big Convert button(6). After you click "Convert"
button, the following dialog will pop up automatically

After video conversion done, the "CD/DVD Burning engine"
will be launched automatically. Please choose the DVD burner
|

Please place a DVD-/+R/RW disc into your DVD burner. If it
is a rewritable disc, the program will erase the disc before
burning DVD disc. When burning DVD is done, the DVD disc will
be eject automatically. You can also find the output file
at the output folder. Here you go! In just 5 steps you converted
your DivX / XviD file to
DVD!
